This platter is cast in an ordinary springform cake tin using Concrete craft. Wooden letters, forming a word are pushed into the wet concrete prior to setting and cast with the concrete.

How to do it

Mix 10 parts of concrete powder to 1 part water. Stir well.

Grease the springform cake tin with cooking oil to make it easy to release the moulded shape at the end. Pour the concrete mix into the springform to the depth of your choice – here approx. 2 cm.

Shake the springform lightly with your hands to avoid too many air bubbles.

Make a word with wooden letters and push them into the concrete mixture. Leave to harden for approx. 24 hours.
