Padded Paper Hearts on a Card

1.   Cut a piece of antique rose card measuring 11 x 11cm. Cut a piece of paper with the brown dots measuring 12.5 x 6cm. Glue these pieces onto the card using double-sided adhesive tape.

2.   Cut out two sets of hearts using the template.

3.   Sew the hearts together in pairs on the machine. Sew very slowly – you may use the hand wheel rather than the foot. Leave a 4cm opening.

4.   Put a bit of polyester stuffing inside before sewing the heart together completely.

5.   Cut two small hearts from fibre paper.

6.   Attach these onto the padded hearts using double-sided adhesive tape.

7.   Attach silver handles onto the card using double-sided adhesive tape.

8.   Attach the hearts onto the card with 3D foam pads.

9.   Decorate with self-adhesive rhinestones.
