Bracelets made from Foam Rubber

These lovely and colourful bracelets will definitely be popular amongst schoolgirls. Foam Rubber is easy to sew in using a tapestry needle and is comfortable to wear around the wrist. The organza ribbon which is sewn on top of the bracelet with tacking stitches, combined with lovely clay, plastic and wooden beads which gives a delicate and feminine effect. Foam rubber can be cut with either a pair of scissors or with a knife. You choose. Enjoy

Comment faire
1. Use a pair of scissors or a knife to cut a piece of foam rubber measuring approx. 16 x 2cm.
2. Sew an approx. 40cm long piece of organza ribbon onto the piece of foam rubber. You may use different types of stitches.
3. Sew small wood or glass beads and metal beads onto the first half of the foam rubber bracelet before reaching the middle.
4. Sew the clay flower onto middle of the foam rubber bracelet. Sew the bead combination onto the other half of the bracelet from the middle towards the other end in mirror image. Secure the thread well.
5. Variation: You may place two pieces of foam rubber on top of each other, one piece approx. 2.5cm wide and the other approx. 1cm wide. You may vary the edges of the bracelet by cutting a wave design
