Box elves

1   Measure every surfaces on the lid.( ex. edge on the inside: 1 cm, edge outside:1,5 cm, the width of the lid: 5cm, edge outside: 1.5cm, edge indside:1cm= 10cm. add 1mm to each tuck=4mm. 10,4 in all). This is one measure. The measure is the same proportions on the other sides. (in this case the lid is square, and the measure for the paper is 10,4x10,4cm) .

2   Draw the measures on the paper.

3   Fasten the paper in the middle of the lid with decoupage lacquer or VTR adhesive. Add the glue to the edge.

4   Cut a little wedge, and press the paper against the edge.

5   Press the corners of the paper with a bone folder.

6   Fold against the middle.

7   Cut the edges of the corners.

8   Add glue to the flaps

9   In the corners as well.

10   Fold it around the edge.

11   Paint the cone Bordeaux.

12   Pull a golden string thru the tip of the cone. Tie a knot.

13   Use a glue gun to assemble the head to the box.

14   Attach the hat using a glue gun. Finish with a knitted tube for the scarf.
